It is very tempting to want to answer "a safe, predictable life journey". Who wouldn't want things to be safe and predictable all the time. You'd always know what to expect and would always know that everything would be alright. Then I think that would be way to easy.... and relatively boring. As humans I believe we need the good and bad times and the happy and sad ones. It helps shape us. (Well some of us). I would definately choose "a somewhat tumultuous, unpredictable path". Even after already having a somewhat tumultuous and unpredictable life thus far. I wouldn't want the easy way out.
