You get what you pay for

When I tell people what I pay a month for web hosting, they think I am foolishly wasting money. There are thousands (well, at least hundreds) of hosts out there, but what isn’t readily apparent is that the ones who offer the cheaper accounts are, more often than not, just resellers for one of the 5-10 big companies.

I use Verio and I appreciate the flexibility that comes from using one of the “big guys”. I currently host 7 different domains (websites), and have plenty of room to grow The ability to install your own software and extensions (like I had to do when i added the spell check feature to Confusing Words) without any hassle it all. The capacity can feel daunting, but it fits well with my learning style.
