			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I have been impressed at how often <a href="http://www.wired.com/">Wired News</a> and <a href="http://www.wired.com/wired/">Wired Magazine</a> cite examples of mainstream technology aiding people with disabilities. <a href="http://www.wired.com/news/wireless/0,1382,65363,00.html">Today&#8217;s article</a> on the prevalence of SMS use in the Deaf community is no exception.</p>
<p>This is not a new thing for Wired. Their coverage of <a href="http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.12/aspergers.html">Autism in the Silicon Valley</a> and others really really the issues in the &#8220;right&#8221; way. My favorite is <a href="http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/9.08/assist.html">John Hockenberry&#8217;s cover story</a>.</p>
