Operating system accessibility features

I am often surprised at how few people are aware of the accessibility features that are built-in to modern operating systems. I thought it would be useful to put them all in one place.

There is also a book I edited: Accessibility for Everybody: Understanding the Section 508 Accessibility Requirements (you can get a full TOC from http://www.apress.com/book/bookDisplay.html?bID=167)

As a one handed pc user, I use ’sticky keys’ a great deal, this alows you to press one key after the other in commands that require you to press or hold down 2 or more keys Ctrl+Alt+Del for example.

    To set go to:

    Start
    Control Panel
    Accessibility Options

and then turn on sticky keys.
